The Golden Nugget is a classic hotel and casino located on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. It was built in 1946 and is one of the oldest casinos in the city. Attractions at the Golden Nugget
Fittingly, the casino features the world's largest gold nugget in existence, known as the Hand of Faith. It had been found in 1980 by Australian Kevin Hiller in his hometown of Wederbern, Australia using a metal detector. Impressionist, singer and entertainer Gordie Brown has a permanent show in the theater. The show runs Friday-Tuesday in July and Tuesday-Saturday from August-November.
